शिरोमणि वाल्मीकि तीर्थ प्रबंधक कमेटी (SVTPC) एक स्वायत्त धार्मिक, सामाजिक एवं सांस्कृतिक संगठन है, जिसकी स्थापना वर्ष 2025 में भगवान वाल्मीकि जी की पवित्र तपोभूमि — श्री वाल्मीकि तीर्थ स्थल (राम तीर्थ), अमृतसर — को उसके मूल धार्मिक स्वरूप में पुनः स्थापित करने, सरकारी नियंत्रण से मुक्त कराने, और सम्पूर्ण अनुसूचित जाति समुदाय (विशेषकर वाल्मीकि एवं मजहबी सिख समाज) को संगठित करने के उद्देश्य से की गई है।
📜 स्थापना की पृष्ठभूमि
यह वही तीर्थस्थल है जहाँ आदिकवि भगवान वाल्मीकि जी ने रामायण की रचना की, माता सीता ने लव-कुश को जन्म दिया और उनका पालन-पोषण किया। यह स्थल सम्पूर्ण भारतवर्ष और विशेष रूप से अनुसूचित जाति समाज के लिए आस्था, संस्कृति और गौरव का केन्द्र है।
2016 में पंजाब सरकार द्वारा पारित “भगवान वाल्मीकि तीर्थ स्थल बोर्ड अधिनियम” ने इस तीर्थस्थल को सरकारी नियंत्रण में ले लिया, जिससे समाज की धार्मिक स्वतंत्रता, श्रद्धा और अस्मिता को गहरा आघात पहुंचा।

🔹 श्री वाल्मीकि तीर्थ को सरकारी नियंत्रण से मुक्त कराना।
🔹 तीर्थस्थल का संपूर्ण प्रबंधन केवल भगवान वाल्मीकि जी के अनुयायी समुदाय को देना।
🔹 एक विशेष विधेयक “Valmiki Tirath Autonomy and Management Act, 2025” पारित करवाना।
🔹 रामायण प्रचार, गुरुकुल व्यवस्था, धार्मिक दीक्षा, शिक्षा, सामाजिक उत्थान हेतु संगठनात्मक विंग्स बनाना।
🔹 युवा वर्ग को धर्म, शिक्षा, संस्कृति और आत्मनिर्भरता से जोड़ना।

“हमारी आस्था, हमारा अधिकार” – जैसे सिखों को SGPC, मुस्लिमों को वक्फ बोर्ड और हिंदुओं को मंदिर ट्रस्ट की मान्यता प्राप्त है, वैसे ही वाल्मीकि समुदाय को भी अपनी एकमात्र धार्मिक तीर्थस्थली का स्वामित्व व प्रबंधन का संवैधानिक अधिकार मिलना चाहिए।

The Shiromani Valmiki Tirath Prabandhak Committee (SVTPC) is an autonomous religious, social, and cultural organization established in the year 2025 with the mission to restore the Shri Valmiki Tirath Sthal (Ram Tirath), Amritsar to its original spiritual sanctity, free from government control, and to unite the entire Scheduled Caste community—especially the Valmiki and Mazhabi Sikh followers—under one religious and cultural banner.
Background of Establishment
Shri Valmiki Tirath Sthal is the sacred site where Bhagwan Valmiki Ji, the Adi Kavi (first poet), composed the divine scripture Ramayan, and where Mata Sita gave birth to Luv and Kush and raised them in the ashram. This holy land holds immense religious, historical, and cultural significance, especially for the Scheduled Caste communities across India.
However, in a deeply unfortunate move, the Punjab Government passed the “Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal Board Act” in 2016, placing this sacred shrine under government control. This undermined the religious freedom, dignity, and emotional connection of the community with their only religious pilgrimage site.
Our Objectives and Resolve
SVTPC’s primary aims include:
🔹 Liberation of Shri Valmiki Tirath from government control.
🔹 Ensuring exclusive management and preservation rights of the Tirath are given to the Valmiki/Mazhabi Sikh community.
🔹 Demand for a special legislative act – the “Valmiki Tirath Autonomy and Management Act, 2025” – to give statutory recognition to SVTPC.
🔹 Establishing multiple organizational wings for Ramayan propagation, Gurukul traditions, education, social upliftment, and global outreach.
🔹 Empowering the youth spiritually, culturally, academically, and economically through training and engagement.

SVTPC believes that just as the SGPC manages Sikh shrines, Waqf Boards manage Islamic sites, and Hindu temple trusts manage temples, the Valmiki community too must have complete, autonomous, and legal control over their only religious shrine — Shri Valmiki Tirath Sthal.
